Search Employees criteria

I would like to be able to choose which criteria is used when searching employees. We have just added "Supervisor" for our employees, and now when I try to enter time in PR and do a quick search (as it's easier than trying to memorize all employee codes), I now get all crew members for that employee. I would like to be able to exclude "supervisor" in the search window. I realize that I could use Advanced Search, but that takes many more clicks and time.
