I had an instance where we cut a check and with that check the person had maxed out on the States SDI and FICA. Then we had to reverse it and cut another check for more money. First it did not take out the proper FICA, that was adjusted and fixed. NOW, that I am auditing my SDI because I have to make adjustments on everyone. I noticed that same persons SDI did not fix it self. The SDI had maxed but when it set the flag it never went back and delted the flag. Now that person is short in deduction, by approx $250.00. What a nightmare. Is the SDI going to be fixed any time soon.
