Aging, Unapplied receipts and Customers

I think you should rethink the customer is set up.  Having one customer set up for each sales person is CRAZY.  We currently run two divisions and each division has their own customers and collections.  When an aging is run by division, any unapplied receipts do not show up.  Our collection people miss money on the books and look stupid to the customers when looking for the money.  You are unable to look at one customer in the system or on the aging to see what is due for that customer.  In addition, to collection issues, we are unable to report on the volume of business, of a particular customer/contractor. To make matters worse, for us, we are moving to have our PE/PM set up their own jobs through Spectrum and we need to minimize our customer lists and make it easier for them and accurate for accounting and owners.  With the current set up, we will need another person just to fix the errors.
