We would like to see improvements made to the PO Module for the case of a PO that has a quoted package price with multiple items.

The scenario:
We quote out gear for an electrical project. The gear includes transformers and panels, etc... The price is usually given as a packaged price. So the quote includes 30 transformers, 16 panels, x other. We need to track what is received, so we need to enter every line item even though we have a packaged price.

When we cut the PO we have the line items of:
001 - Packaged Price - Qty: 1 - Price: $100,000
002 - Transformer A - Qty: 30 - Price: $0
003 - Panel A - Qty: 16 - Price: $0

If the PO were a one shipment, one invoice PO, it would not be an issue. The issue comes when there are multiple shipments and multiple invoices on the PO.

Shipment 1:
10 - Transformer A
5 - Panel A

Shipment 2:
20 - Transformer A
11 - Panel A

Invoice 1: $43,000
Invoice 2: $57,000

What we have to do now is:
1. Received Invoice 1 for $43,000
2. Confirm what they said was shipped, was received
3. Modify the PO, decrease line item 001 by $43,000
4. Modify the PO, add a new line item "Lot Shipment x, QTY: 1 - Price: $43,000
5. PO - Receive the new line item of $43,000
6. AP - Create invoice against what was received.

We would like to speed this process up.
