Projected Cost default GP %

When we set up a job in job file maintenance, there is an option to enter the projected cost.  This allows for dollars only.  It would be nice to have the option for a projected gross profit.  Entering a projected cost dollar is great until change orders are issued.  Then the projected cost must be manually updated.  If there was a way to set up a default gross profit percentage (i.e. 10%), that would result in the contract status report being more useful and require less manual updates each month when changes are made to the contract amount.
