AP - New subcontract embedded in Change Request set as "Original"

When you enter a Subcontract component using the "Subcontractor Pricing" button in Change Request, you can add a brand new Subcontract via the Maintenance but when the Subcontract is setup in AP, the value entered is put in as a Change Order.  I would like to see an option that would allow the value to be put as the Original Contract value of the subconctract, not a change order.  The dollars work out the same, but it would make the subcontract reports more accurate and the lien releases the subs sign be more accurate.
