I would like to suggest an enhancement to provide totals for the hours and $/hour (rate) during Projected Cost Entry. There has always been a total for the Period to date cost, JTD cost, Cost to Complete, and the Projected at Completion, but these are ONLY dollars. No where do we have totals for hours or the rate. A project manager frequently doesn't realize a phases hours (or rate) is off until they update their projection. It would be far easier to have hour and rate totals in all the applicable columns (Period to date, JTD, Cost to Complete, and Projected at Completion) so they can see at a glance what sort of total hours and rate they have. This doesn't have to be on the main screen, but could be under the "More Totals" button. At least it would be only a button-push away rather than after the update has been completed.

Note: The "rate" is available on the report that comes up during the update, but the "rate" is based on TOTAL dollars rather than just a specific "labor" cost type, so the rate is not useful for review purposes on this report. It is not evident until the update is complete and a separate report can be run to compare labor hrs to labor $ to determine the rate. For the enhancement, it seems that only specific cost types should affect the total labor $ and subsequently the rate. Ideally, it seems like the user should be able to specify what cost types would contribute to their labor $ and rates.
