PO - saving work intermittently

I know this was brought up previously, but I'd like to re-open a discussion re: saving of purchase orders.

Currently if you are in the "grid" doing line item entry, you can press F3 to move to the next line, but F3 does not actually "SAVE" the PO. The only way to "SAVE" the PO and all the line items that have been entered is to click "SAVE", which then closes the PO.

We've had some issues where a data entry person has entered a large number of lines, and then when they went to save it, an error occurred, causing them to lose all their work. We've recommended saving intermittently so that work is not lost, but because "saving" closes the entry screen, this is cumbersome. They have to save and then open the PO back up to add in additional lines.

We tried pressing F3 during the entry (while in the grid), and it moved us to the next line, but it didn't actually save that line to the PO. If you force close the tab, without clicking the SAVE button, your work is lost. Similarly, if an error occurs during the Save, ALL work is lost. :(

Please provide us with a way to intermittently save PO's without having it automatically close, requiring that we open the PO to continue working.

  Starting in 14.23 we added a Save and Continue option.
