Navigation in Item Entry - PO's (prefers window entry instead of grid)

Columns in line item entry; size can be changed, but not order of appearance. I would like to be able to re-arrange most-used columns into a single frame of view.

Jump across columns is too abrupt to track where you are - item description disappears leaving only qty and item# to identify the line you’re entering.  Would prefer a nested line (similar to current) instead of drawing past the visible screen width, keeping all pertinent information visible.

Once you tab through last field in line, it jumps to new line entry, but does not immediately re-set column view to full left. I would like to know if the new version will include a wrist brace, or pay for worker's comp - too many keystroke and mouse combinations required to enter a single line because of new grid format!! Thanks for your consideration.
