Cash Receipts Report

I would like to see the cash receipts report reference the customer invoice that the payment was applied to.  This is something I always have to track for my auditors to show where & when a specific invoice was paid by the customer.  Am I missing a report that will give me this information without a lot of searching & cross-referencing between different sources.  The only place I have found that will tell me this is an inquiry for payment history & I would prefer to have a report that clearly shows this information.
