Date of Substantial Completion

We are submitting a change order to a customer and part of the change is to have the substantial completion date increased by 20 days.  We are able to enter the 20 day increase in contract time that flows through to the second to last line on the CO form, however the last line "The date of Substantial Completion as of the date of this change order therefore is __________" is not accessible because it is only a text field.  There are places to store various dates in the job record, but Substantial Completion is not one of them.  It would be nice if that field can be added on the job record or perhaps the contract record so it can automatically flow into the CO form.
