I absolutely agree.
The billing approach on the revenue side for T&M limits us. We have the ability to charge Hr/Day/Wk/Mon to the job on the cost side, but only 1 rate on the T&M revenue side.
Example:
EQUIP1 and EQUIP2 both have bill rates of $50. I've setup T&M Billing Job100.
I charge EQUIP1 for 1 hour to Job100
I charge EQUIP2 for 1 week to Job100
The T&M Billing only has one rate (hours/units). There is no way to differentiate Hr/Day/Wk/Month.
Billing to the customer:
EQUIP1= 1 x $50 = $50
EQUIP2 = 1 x $50 = $50
This requires manual intervention when you have billing units that differ from what is set up as the single billing rate/level.
