Idea: SDX - Equipment required import year was entered as a 4 digit and not 2 digit

EQUIPMENT
Equipment Year-
It only allows a 2 digit year, I believe it should be a 4 digit year
 
SDX Equipment Import
Equipment Year-
There is no validation, I inadvertently did not check the number of characters for the Equipment Year, and our export from our old system used a 4 digit year.  Since I did not check the number of digits, I imported a 4 digit year, and Spectrum took the first 2 digits, so all of our equipment is from the years 19 or 20.  I believe this should be validated for that field, then the records would have been rejected.  Since there is no update option, we now have to go thru our 904 pieces of equipment and enter in the 2 digit year.
 
Equipment Update SDX-
I know the data for Equipment is static, and you might think there is not a need for an update.
 
During conversions to go live, there is a lot of time sensitive exports from legacy systems into the Spectrum to get the system up and running, and you may find, down the road, that some of the imports were done incorrectly because there was not validation of the data imported or the wrong data (field) might have been imported or left out.
 
It would be nice to be able to update non-critical fields as in the Equipment SDX file.  Even importing into a test company, you don’t always notice every field to determine if it was imported, or imported correctly until someone really starts using Spectrum and finds an error in the data or that it wasn’t included in the export to create the SDX file, now you require the information and the only option is hand entering the data.
