It's important to have the Finance Charges labeled as such because every customer we send a statement to calls or emails asking what adjustment. The term adjustment means many different things and none of our customers are going to pay a charge with that label on it without an explanation. That means a phone call to someone who will then have to look up the customer to check on the charge, because there could be a different reason other than finance charges. With over ten thousand customers in our A/R module this adds up quickly to be a very time consuming issue. This is very inefficient and a waste of our resources which costs money.
