Oregon Statewide Transit Employee Withholding tax should be addressed asap and before 7/1/18

I spoke to your support department and was told that this tax could be accounted for using the SDI fields under Other Taxes. This will not work because that is how Oregon employers account for the Oregon WBF tax.

    Other options include:

    • Merging the WBF tax rate with the Transit Tax to get the accruals to occur.  Then you would need to review the monthly report and calculate the appropriate amounts.
    • Create a tax code that just has this Transit Tax on it.  Assign it to your employees as a local or county tax code.

    Am I missing something?  I think one of these two options would work here.
