Users in accounts payable want to be able to print or export invoices and attachements with the notes that they have added. They often send the imaged documents with notes to vendors and employees with requests for additional information or status of payment. Since they can't print the image with the notes they have to export to PDF, mark up and scan again. They used to have the option to append the output with notes but that is now gone.

Our customer requires us to mark up the invoices with a reference to the SOV line items and submit with our invoice for cost reimbursable project, so we have to do this outside of Spectrum. The contract is in excess of $10 mil and spans multiple years. This feature existed in Spectrum and then it was removed.
This was an important feature for our AP department in providing documentation with notes to our vendors, our PM's and our Senior accountant. Now that we have lost this feature it is very time consuming to perform the same tasks.
This feature was necessary for us not just for vendor or customer notes, but also audit purposes. This was a necessary feature that we have now lost access to.
