Some employees have a per diem rate of $35/day, and some $50/day. Using the add on feature to the employee file of $35/day allows the payroll person to have the rate of pay in the system, without having to look up each person every payroll. However we need a field to input the number of days the per diem is to be calculated for during the payroll input of hours/days worked.

Or attached to a job instead of attached to an employee. We have zone pay of $35 per day if they work 1 hour on a job or 15 hours on a job - they get $35 each day they work on the job, no matter how many hours.
