The text file import does automatically distribute the salary amount among hours included in the text file. The WebService or SDX doesn't support this logic - it should.

Geoffrey, it's been 6 years and this is still an issue. If you still work here, how can we avoid manually redistributing for salaried employees?
I am sure you already aware of this one...but after you've imported the pre-time cards, you can manually run the Redistribute function. Granted, its not as nice as what you've suggested, but in the mean time, I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that it was an option available today.
