In Materials Management, if we manually type a scale ticket the "Misc charge taxable" flag stays un-selected (which is our desired result). But if we import our scale tickets they come over with the "Misc charge taxable" flag selected, and it is a manual process for us to open each ticket one-by-one to deselect it. At the height of our busy season this is a huge waste of time.
There does not appear to be any option within the Scale Data Format file layout maintenance to specify whether the Misc charge should be taxable or not.
It would be great if users could specify whether the "misc" charges should be taxable or not - ideally on the System Administration Installation screen where the rest of the details regarding "misc" charges are maintained.
This discrepancy seems like a system bug to me (the result should be the same whether a ticket is entered manually or imported) but I tried to report it as an incident and was told that it's not a bug.
