When the inventory count sheets are printed it would be nice to have the current items on hand printed on the sheet so the inventory clerk will know if he has to update the item

In accounting "theory" it is important that the user count the items and mark how many there are.
The thought being that if you knew that there were 95 items in the bin and you only counted 93, you'd just accept the 95 and move on...so for this reason I'm going to say we aren't going to do this one.
Instead of changing the report, perhaps you could export the data with Info Link or some other report? Then you could use the CSV import to get the quantities on hand in.
