This is my guess based on a review of the PTE app. PTE collects Labour and Equipment usage "costs" and posts these to the various Jobs and Phases, which presumably if set up correctly would align with the estimate/budget corresponding elements. It does not appear to enable the logging of work progress or "Earned Value" (EV) against these costs to enable the evaluation of gain or fade against the estimate. Also it does not appear to enable logging the usage of site stored materials, (incorporated in the work) So the comparison between "quantities delivered" (costs) against "quantities used" (costs) can be factored into the WIP. (the offset between Expended Costs and Earned Value)
Can you be a bit more specific here? Where are you wanting to submit production quantities?
Today, these can be imported into Payroll using a CSV file or a web service.
