When you have multiple checking accounts that are being used, it would be helpful to be notified that a check will overdraw (send the G/L account to a credit) if a check or checks would be cut. We have had several incidents where this has happen and to be able to be notified of this should be a standard feature in an ERP system.

I am struggling with this one because Spectrum is an accrual-based system. Having a credit balance (say in Cash) in the G/L doesn't necessarily mean you are overdrawn at the bank. I don't think that this would be meaningful for most.
Another idea would be create a dashboard app that displays the balance in your cash account. You still have the issue of timing between an accrual basis and cash basis, but you would have some visibility here.
The dashboard app is called G/L Account Balance. You enter the G/L code (SuperSelect if desired) and give it a description. This one can be done today.
