Every time I view an AP invoice I have to zoom in on it. It would be very useful if a default zoom rate could be set so the invoice is readable when it first appears.

It boggles my mind, why we need to contact support each time there is a software upgrade to have them change the config file so that the default zoom setting in document imaging is reset to "Fit to Width" and then we need to get all the users to clear their cache. It would make things so much simpler if Viewpoint would make it a permanent change so this no longer needs to be done. I saw one post having to do with load times for images being a factor. We aren't dealing with dial-up modems anymore.
Would it not be much easier for you to make it a permanent change then having support have to go in and change all the individual config files as more and more companies find out that this is an available solution.
The DPI default is a setting that COPS can change for you. Granted by increasing the DPI, it also slows down how fast the image renders.
But if you need it increased, reach out to Support and ask COPS to modify it.
In the current world we live in, not to mention the drive to go paperless, the need for clear images is essential. It's not LEAN to have to zoom on every image while entering a batch of AP invoices.
This is a great ease of use/quality of life improvement.
