Currently when doing the data entry the invoice date is used for aging purposes. Really is should be the invoice received date. A vendor will often date an invoice for one date but it may not be received for sometime or they may have not sent it. This affects the accurate reporting of processing invoices and the approval process. If we use the invoice date as the date received this helps but again we run into an issue with knowing the lag in invoice created vs received and processing.
