When rejecting an invoice back to the originator (generally the sub/vendor) there is a box where the reason for the rejection is input and an automatic email gets sent to the contact on file for that vendor. It states the billing has been rejected - but the reason you just entered does not get sent with the auto generated email. The only thing in the email reads is "Please review and re-submit current billing for:" and the job #, Vendor Name, and Subcontract #. It doesn't state why the billing was rejected. The vendor then goes back into their billing and just hits submit again and we are back at square one.
What we have to do is to go into our sent box in our email and forward that email to the contact and re-type the reason why their billing was rejected (that you've already typed into Spectrum once). This results in the vendor receiving at least two emails from us and doing each rejection one at a time as to not forget the reason why a particular billing was rejected.
Essentially it would be incredible to have the rejection reason that we type into the "rejection reason" box sent in the generated email letting them know their billing was unapproved.
