So, I have spoken to support several times and have been told that Development is aware of the problem, but when using a Standard Cost Job set up, the Cash fringes and Employee provided benefits (when using Employer Benefit in the Pay Rate) keeps posting to the Job Cost History reports. So in effect, we are charging them a Standard rate AND the Fringe AND the Employee provided benefits. We need this corrected. They just need to not post to Job Cost when the job is a Standard Cost Job. This has caused a lot of problems with the balancing of the job. The 2 solutions I was given was to turn off the GL posting and do a Job Cost Transaction to off set it. OR to completely change our fringe set up in the system ... which might have some benefits, considering that we have no idea how to set up tiered benefits when we have around 30 different insurance plans and other benefits, without paying for the training to get help with this ... because of this error ... it's hard accept.
