The contract status report has an option to exclude jobs after period end date. This is good. However, when the combine sub jobs into master jobs box is selected the report includes all components of the master job regardless of their create date. This filter should apply to all the component jobs in the same way it applies with the master job is not selected. Our company uses sub jobs to isolate all work for a specific client. However, when reporting financial information we only report the total work for a client not the hundreds of individual jobs. We regularly run reports for prior periods and since we are always adding jobs to the master the contract status report will be different.
