Please let the end-user be able to change the color of the background/fonts. The new version release is almost all white, creating a need to wear sunglasses while using this program! Please let the end user be able to make their own decisions about the color scheme as it does affect the user!

Not a solution, but a workaround - on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox (not sure about Safari) there's an extension called Dark Reader that allows you to change a website to dark mode, as well as adjust the brightness, contrast, grayscale, and sepia.
Yes, you need to offer a variety of color schemes.
I concur with most of the comments here, too white and bright, please allow for the option for the user to select a dark mode.
We switched to 2021 R3 last night and I immediately noticed how bright the screen was and how difficult it is to read the font. I also would like to see the color change back to what it was or something less strenuous on the eyes.

Yes please change it so we can change the colors! They are awful and hurt my eyes! I have a light sensitivity and need cool and calm warm colors, not bright ones. I have to work on Spectrum most of the day and if I can't find a compromise, get to take daily pills to avoid the headache these colors will give me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. For the sake of the users who BUY the programs, let us pick our own colors!!!
Please add a dark mode! After the 2021 R3 update, my users are having to install dark mode extensions for their browsers in order to use it at all.
Spectrum darker font background prior to recent release upgrade worked great and should have remained. Current white background is washed out and difficult on user eyes.
