You should be able to see if a technician is off work on the dispatch schedule and not just the dispatch board. I don't understand why the feature is helpful on the dispatch board, when it would be most helpful on the dispatch schedule to know if someone is working or not.

To do this we created a work order named "TimeOff" and just schedule techs on that work order so it shows up in service tech and the dispatch schedule. It's a pain in the ass adding and removing them all the time, but it's the only solution we've come up with so far.
