Two times already an employee entered an incorrect date in Spectrum to a period that does not exist in Spectrum. The date appears at 01/01/00. This year does not exist in our database and Spectrum should not have allowed the entry to post. The last time it took weeks to resolve.
In the inventory module, the entry shows in Item History but not on the Item on hand report. It did not post to the GL.
I recommend a fix so that any data that is not within an open period, Spectrum blocks totally. No one should be allowed to continue entry.
