As a public works GC, none of our customers are willing to login into Spectrum to view/respond to submittals and RFIs. Currently we would have to create a submittal/RFI, download it, and then email it to our customers. Responses are then sent back to us via email, where we log it manually into TEAMS. This creates unecessary steps and our PMs end up not using TEAMS entirely / resorting to old-fashioned excel for logs.
This scenario can be easily fixed by having PDF attachments of the Submittal/RFI (cover page, included drawings, attachments) included in the outgoing emails to the customer. This way the customer can view and download the submittal/RFI directly.
