On job maintenance, the contract type is just a free text field. We plan to do a lot of reporting, and will use contract type as a way to slice and dice our jobs. We would like that to be a dropdown list of validated entries to ensure more accurate reporting. If someone makes a typo on that field, the job on which they made the typo would not be listed on any report for which we specify the contract type. On work orders, work order type is a dropdown with a validated list, contract type should do the same.
