We are new to Spectrum. We are finding out that we can only process 1 payroll or 1 AP payment run at a time. We have multiple companies so we have multiple AP and payroll clerks. We are having to coordinate our daily work so we can post.
This defeats the purpose of the entity set up. I wish we would have known this was an issue.

Correct. Other accounting programs allow multiple printings at one time. When you have 2 or 3 people trying to run their specific batches and prints, it become arduous to wait on other people to finish their stuff. Example like ProContractor - multiple people can print at a time, and you just have to confirm your starting check number and move along. I, for instance, in payroll can be selecting and printing garnishment payments while accounts payable selects and prints their vendor payments - both of which we have to use the AP Payment Processing for, but if she selects Prepayment Register to check some of her selections, it locks me out from printing and moving forward. Why can't multiple people print at once?
In Accounts Payable, checks are run by Processing Group.
Two or more folks can be selecting items for payment and adding alternate payees up until the point one runs the Prepayment Register. Then the others have to wait until that person finishes their cycle.
