We need a way to force clocking in and out in the Service Tech app. This option should be a part of the Service Tech installation settings and be applicable only to the entity that turned it on - it should not be a setting to override in Function Security. Instead, there should be a table in the installation settings where you can give an individual technician the ability to do so if he/she is a trusted employee.

While we wait for this, does anyone know of a way to force clocking in/out via Function Security? I played with some of those flags but couldn't find one that disabled direct time entry to require clocking in/out.
I would disagree to this function. We have experienced issues with capturing OT charges for the customer. The way Spectrum is integrated with UKG for payroll, my techs have to add a separate labor entry with a billing code for "before/Afterhours". This function may work if Spectrum had a time schedule to auto populate OT rate on the invoice outside of your normal business hours.
