Users should have the option (in installation) to prevent any entry to a work order with a 'closed' status/date. We recently had a part added to a work order that had been closed for almost a year. Allowing this entry distorts time needed for repairs and between failures. If a work order is re-opened, the closed date resets to current which preserves the history and timeline for repairs.

From an auditor's perspective, this is a much needed control that needs to be implemented by the Spectrum Software team.
Agreed. This update will prevent technicians/mechanics from adding inventory items to a closed Work Order as opposed to creating a new Work Order for additional services/repairs.
