It seems like we have to click one invoice at a time to edit the batch imported. I would be quicker if they could simply page to the next item to add the GL details in a batch.

More like how the AP document image of the batch automatically rolls to the next item for validation
I was meaning more of the data flow. To have each AP invoice scroll to the next vs having to go back and click and one then go back and click on one
Let me explain our rationale here.
The header information for the invoice has not been validated until you enter the various fields. In this way we make sure that this isn't a duplicate invoice and catch other errors. Rather than risk bad data, we choose this method to verify that the data was correct.
The other option would have been to no longer require the header and detail portion of the screen to be in balance. We thought long and hard on that one and decided against it for now.
So this is why it is the way it is.
