With new law introduced, it is required to extend 3 full days of bereavement pay to each employee each year. Adding a paid time off type would elimate this from being manually calculated by employee, so not abused.

This would save on manual entry and human error.
Yes, a pay code for bereavement would be greatly appreciated rather than having to create our own workaround.
Even without laws I believe a pay code for bereavement is needed. Having to make a "Note" manually does not help track the employee who has been paid for time off for bereavement. I think it should be a hard coded pay type not an add on.
