When I save a job cost history template with a date Selection of "current processing date" and then set it as my default, the job cost history screen will only pull up costs up to the date that the template was created

On all report templates, I change the date selection to Current System Date. That option allow dates to update with the calendar. I have also used "End of Prior Period" and "Fixed number of days offset". If you run a report every Monday, but backdate to Friday, you can set the offset days to "-3".
