LCP Tracker is requesting employee emails to be included starting 9/1/24, the current export file does not include this, on the LCP Tracker website there is a new upload template that has this field in it.

Thanks for the follow-up. To be honest I do not know if the city has specified work/personal emails. For my company specifically, we do not assign work emails to operators, just to supervisors/managers/admin. So the employees that we need to file with city only have personal emails in our system.

Just to make sure I am on the right page, the city wants the PERSONAL email and not the WORK one?
I was thinking of providing the work email if it existed...when it didn't, we'd use the personal email.
I have gone out to Denver's LCPTracker page...and am not seeing anything about emails. Can you point me to the right place that documents what they are wanting?

Not to pass the buck here, but LCPTracker added that email address field, they didn't change their schema number. So when I called and asked for the latest version, it always sounded like we were on the latest and greatest.

Hi Geoff,
In September the city of Denver began to require the employee's personal email when submitting prevailing wage reports. We had hoped to have this info on the Spectrum report that could be uploaded. Due to the lack of Spectrum's response in this matter we ended up working with the city to be able to add their emails and have them populate each week in their system, eliminating the need to get this info from Spectrum each week. I could see that other's working with Denver would also need this feature. I do understand that emails are considered PII, but we have to provide what the city requires in this case.

Question about adding the employee email to the LCPTracker export.
Should this be the employee's work email or personal email?
There are those that believe that personal email is PII and shouldn't be shared...
Thoughts??
