Trimble single sign on is not user friendly or secure

The new single sign on is causing issues for our employee kiosk users. They get directed to the Trimble user info screen rather than their normal kiosk screen. There is no obvious way to get back to the home screen. This is even harder to navigate on a cell phone. This is construction software, it's safe to assume most employees do not sit at a desk with a computer. The kiosk needs to be phone friendly.


Once you do get logged in, then sign out at the end of your session, it no longer actually signs you out. You now have to go to the Trimble user info screen and sign out there as well. This is a huge security issue for our users that are on a shared department computer.

    I went through this process with your support. She is the one who told me to list this issue here. She saw it happen. They start at the spectrum URL. It will not let them log in without creating a new Trimble single sign on. Once they have done that, it routes them to the user screen. At this point they can only update their information and sign out. Once you sign out, it takes you back to the log on page. This circle will continue over and over.

    Employee Kiosk users should be logging in via your spectrum URL. They would sign in with their Trimble ID. This does not route the user to their Trimble user screen. We are working on an option to sign out when you select sign out in Spectrum. I would recommend using HRM Employee Self Service. There is an app for employees to access there pay stubs. Contact your account rep for information on HRM Employee Self Service.
