We would like the option to disallow the favorites bar to open on default. Several of us not use it and fine it annoying to constantly close it.

Thank you for the direction on this. Any possible way to rename the ���Navigation Bar��� to ���Favorites��� bar? This is very confusing ��� sorry ��� I appreciate the consideration and time.

If you use Preferences, can you get the Navigation Bar to not appear? I just did a quick test...hid the Navigation Bar and saved. Then I logged out and back in...seems to work for me.

That is correct. When opening Spectrum, the Favorites bar opens as a default. We would like the option to NOT have this open and just click it off and it stays off, rather than closing it everytime we log into Spectrum.
The 'official' name of that area is the Navigation Bar. The first section is 'Favorites'...then it is user defined from there...
So you want Favorites collapsed but the other areas expanded on this panel?

Hello! This option already exists.
Each user can make the change to hide the Navigation Bar. Here are the steps:
In Spectrum, select the Preferences option in the upper right hand side of the screen.
Select the 'Show Navigation Bar collapsed' checkbox.
Click OK to save.
