Currently, in views such as Vendor > Subcontracts, users can rearrange the existing columns horizontally, but there’s no way to add or customize which columns appear beyond what is preset. This limits the ability to tailor the view based on department-specific needs, such as accounting, project management, or procurement.
Suggested Enhancement:
Introduce a customizable column feature that allows users to:
Add additional data fields to the view (e.g., Job Status, PO#, Project Manager, Last Payment Date).
Select from a list of available columns to display or hide.
Save custom column layouts per user or role.
Benefits:
Teams can tailor views to what matters most to them.
Reduces the need to export and manipulate data externally.
Enhances efficiency during audits, reconciliations, and project reviews.
This level of customization would bring Spectrum in line with modern ERP and project management tools that provide user-driven data control and flexibility.
