Our company uses a hierarchy of Cost Group tiers for reporting by division and at different layers or the organization. It would be extremely helpful if we could have 5 User-defined fields added to the EM_COST_GROUP_LIST_MC and/or EM_COST_GROUPS_MC tables.

Since you can use the same cost centers again and again in cost groups, couldn't you just create the different groups that match your hiearchies?
In my sample data, I have the same cost center be part of my Seattle cost group and the Electrical cost group. Is there some way that you could effectively create your groups that also reflect your hierarchy?
