Spectrum Data Exchange currently has a template to import NEW Equipment, but does not have a template to update EXISTING Equipment (with the exception of rates).
We would like a SDX template that allows Equipment updating, especially updates of the HOME YARD, AREA, STATUS, and BILLING CODE. Other Equipment master fields that others update frequently could also be included. Updating the equipment master currently has to be done by hand, one piece of equipment at a time. SDX could have a huge impact on the time spent updating equipment.
Can't believe that this has not been completed yet - 2018 when this was submitted!!! Yes, this is very much needed - many companies have hundreds if not thousands of pieces of equipment that have to manually enter for an update.
Yes! It's very frustrating when there's no template for something fundamental like this! I'm in the process of clicking through about 300 pieces of equipment to update one field on each, and it could have been done in 2 minutes with an import.

Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

We'd also like to add Ownership Information fields to the Equipment Update template as there are frequent changes needed there as well.
