HR- FMLA Installation option to allow tracking of eligible hours

Currently, FMLA tracks availability by weeks used to determine weeks remaining. 
We would like to have the option to track the number of hours. 
For example, we have several pregnant women in accounting who will spend a couple of hours on certain days for required medical appointments leading up to their pregnancies.

Users would have the option to use weeks or hours within the HR Installation Admin module.
