We need the ability to download all docs and images attached to a work order at one time. Downloading each doc at once is extremely time consuming and preventing us from fully implementing this service tech function.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

The problem with this work around is that the files that are downloaded are assigned random file names. I would generally be ok with this if the images retained the file descriptions given by whoever uploaded the image. For example, if I have a tech send me 40 images of the data plates of equipment on a roof and label them, the current system doesn't carry that through so I have to go into the file list and manually rename every document in the zip file so we know what they are. I have to hunt through the image list and compare them either with the work order itself or with the File listing report, which is created as a crystal report, which most people in our organization don't have. I happen to be the only one who does. That doesn't save any time over doing them one at a time. In the case of more than 30 images, it actually makes it take longer.
Sorry to be blunt, but this is a poor workaround. Shelby's original idea could have been more specific, but I think it's obvious that the ask here was to have a button in the work order module that would allow the user to easily download all files at once from the work order itself.
To those who find this in the future and want to be able to do what Geoffrey is suggesting, open a site map and go to Document Imaging > Search Documents. A search window will appear. In the "Image Description" field, type an asterisk followed by the work order number (for example: *123456). You must put an asterisk in front of the work order number. You can leave everything else in this window with the default values. Click the OK button, and you should see your work order in the list of results. Click the Listing button at the top, then Distribute > Continue > Download Now. This will export all files on this work order and download them in a ZIP file. If you get more search results than just the work order, you can narrow down the search to the WO Cabinet.
If you go to Document Imaging | Search Documents...you can select the transaction based on its cabinet and drawer. Then you can use the Listing and then Distribute button. This will allow you to export any type of DI item.
We have some customers who require copies of all material invoices. It would be easier if there was some way a distribution export could be done like it is for jobs.
This is also preventing us from fully implementing Service Tech. Photo manipulation once the work order is completed and transferred back to Spectrum. There has to be a better way/enhancement for photos.
