I imagine every company has Notes to manage somehow on their GL accounts. UDF's are the only Spectrum option and they are extremely limited.

The GL Master File absolutely needs a notes feature! This could house important and relevant information such as:
Status change date(s) and reason for change
Specific uses for the account (helpful for budgeting process)
As a company, we are pushing the utilization of notes, where available, in all modules. This promotes continuity and provides historical data that is invaluable as a living record for future staff members. This would also provide the opportunity for a listing report that includes notes which could be shared with those that do not have access to the GL Master File.
