Need work orders inventory parts to have the same function as a job requisition when you add inventory to the committed job requisition it displays as committed. Work orders do not do that function.

Are you talking about also having the 'O'rdered and 'S'hipped status too? Maybe, add the same function of a job requisition when you create a new work order and it's still open. An I already added the parts to the parts used tab. I need to spectrum to recognize that those parts are already pull from inventory and being committed same as a job requisition when you create one 'O' ordered in spectrum in pulls that specific material/tools apart.
Now we have open Work order #1663, however parts are already added to the parts used tab, but they haven't been committed(pull from inventory) in Spectrum.
For example, I create a job requisition # 16487 the status is 'O' Ordered CLUMB00105 if you check the attachment below you will see that item code committed (pull from inventory.)

Today, when a service work order has material entered to it, we treat is as an open commitment. So that is happening today...there must be something else you are looking for. Would you help me understand here?
