I misunderstood the request!
I have a way to do this...but it does require a group of mouse clicks. Here are the steps:
Call up the Job Analysis page.
On the Job Info Bar, click Billings and then Contracts.
Click the Contract you want to bill for. This will pen the Contract Info Bar.
Scroll down to the Contract Info Bar, click Entry and then Invoice Entry.
This will open the Customer Invoice Entry screen with the customer and job in context.
Granted, it is not as nice as having a single button, but it is an option.
Thank you for writing back Harris!
Geoff
No it doesn't ( unless i'm missing the next steps from that page)
To bill i still have to go to the "customer invoices" page and enter the customer and job number again. Would be great to have some of it populated already.
Instead of a button, we added a hyperlink to A/R balance on Job Analysis. Click it and it will open a new tab taking you to Contract Open Items.
Does that solve the issue?
