No this does not exist yet, despite a previous case stating it already exists. I have confirmation from a Trimble rep (screenshot attached).
When we export reports to Excel (from any module) the option for Excel is a XLS file (Excel 97-2003). This is an old Excel version that is outdated and cannot support many features. We would like Spectrum to default to an XLSX file (Excel Workbook). Is there an update coming soon for this? I know we can 'save as' and change the file type ourselves, however it seems strange to default to a 20+ year old file type.

This! It's very inconvenient that all exports have to be 'saved as' to get them to a current release!
